LeSean McCoy Predicts Multiple Super Bowl Victories For Eagles

LeSean McCoy Championship BeltEagles running back LeSean McCoy predicted Tuesday that he will own multiple Vince Lombardi Trophies in the near future to go with his 2013 rushing championship belt.

LeSean McCoy must have treated himself to a new crystal ball following his 2013 campaign where he finished as the NFL's rushing champion.

Last week while appearing on CNBC, McCoy predicted that the San Francisco 49ers would top the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII in February.

Tuesday, McCoy put on his Swami hat and made a bold prediction regarding himself and his Eagles teammates hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy in the near future.

"The time has come," McCoy said when prompted by Bloomberg's Stephanie Ruhle that Eagles fans are frustrated by not having a Lombardi trophy in their possession. "In the next five years, we should get a couple wins.

"We have the talent, we have the coach and the players all have the same goal and same dreams."

The Eagles are one of the more storied franchises in the National Football League but are in the midst of a 54-year championship-less drought. Having lost both Super Bowl XV and Super Bowl XXXIX, the Birds won the NFL championship in 1960, 1948 and 1949.
