Following another tough extra inning loss that went late into the night, the Phillies look to get back on track this afternoon against the Mets. Kyle Kendrick gets the ball in this conclusion to allumni weekend that has brought back many Phillies greats and added Charlie Manuel to the Wall of Fame. Kendrick is coming off one of his more encouraging outings last week where he held the Astros to one run over seven innings.  He's unfortunately been hit around pretty good by the Mets this season so today is a good day to turn it around.

Facing Kendrick is Zack Wheeler who has handled the Phillies well this year including a lopsided loss at the end of July. Despite some on an off struggles, Wheeler has been on a great run since the end of June and posts a 3.48 ERA for the season.

Marlon Byrd gets a day of rest as Grady Sizemore slides over to right field and Domonic Brown gets another shot today in left.
