After a brutal stretch where the Phillies haven't seemed to do much right the past week in Spring Training, they put together a really nice game against Julio Teheran and the Braves in a 9-2 victory today.

It all started fast with Ben Revere and Jordan Danks hitting singles before Chase Utley drove them in with his first of two home runs. Howard would score on an error of the bat of Cody Asche for a quick 4-0 lead. After Utley's second home run, Teheran would settle down until Freddy Galvis and catcher Rene Garcia hit back to back home runs off him in the 4th.

Cole Hamels had it all working for his final Spring Training start today. Through six innings, he allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) while striking out three and walking one. Jake Diekman would pitch a scoreless 7th and Cesar Jimenez would close it out with two perfect frames, striking out three.

In other news per Tom Housenick of the Morning Call Domonic Brown, who is working his way back from injury, hit two doubles in a minor league intrasquad game and faced Aaron Nola.

Phillies close it out in Clearwater tomorrow against Chris Archer and the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05. Jerome Williams goes for Philly.
