According to ESPN's Ed Werder, the Eagles and quarterback Sam Bradford are no longer engaged in discussions regarding a short-term extension.

Werder had previously reported that the Eagles and Bradford were discussing a short-term contract extension before the start of the 2015 season. Those talks have seemed to subside, as Bradford's performance during the preseason has changed the "dynamics" of the negotiations.
Bradford's stellar preseason, where he completed 13-of-15 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns, has likely given the quarterback the confidence he needs to take gamble on himself in the hopes of maximizing his value by season's end.
The 27-year-old is entering the final year of a six-year deal he signed with the St. Louis Rams back in 2010. He is set to earn around $13 million this season before becoming a free agent.
If Bradford thrives in Chip Kelly's offense, the Eagles can employ the franchise tag to keep him in Philadelphia for another season while the two sides negotiate something more long-term. Whatever decision the Eagles come to, it would be wise of them to let this season play out before committing to Bradford, despite how well he's played in limited action this preseason.
Health will be a major factor in contact negotiations. If Bradford carves up opposing defenses and is able to stay on the field, then the Eagles should have no problem paying him the big bucks to be their franchise quarterback.
