Flyers Select LW Matthew Strome with 106th Pick, RW Maksim Sushko with 107th Pick

The Flyers held back-to-back picks in the fourth round and used them for a pair of wingers.

With the 106th pick, the Flyers selected left wing Matthew Strome from Hamilton in the OHL.

With the 107th pick, the Flyers selected right wing Maksim Sushko from Owen Sound in the OHL.

Strome is the brother of Dylan and Ryan and slipped through the first couple of rounds to the fourth round where the Flyers were able to take him. Strome scored 34 goals and added 28 assists for 62 points in 66 games. He also had one goal and seven assists in seven games in the playoffs and scored one goal and had two assists in five games at the World Junior Championships.

Sushko scored 17 goals and added 15 assists for 32 points in 54 games with Owen Sound. He had three goals and eight assists in 17 playoff games.

The Flyers have four picks remaining in the draft, starting with their fifth round pick at 137th overall.
