This is not something you can make up. Phillies prospect Jesse Biddle is missing a start because he was hit with a hailstone during Thursday's thunderstorms in the Reading area.
Mike Drago of the Reading Eagle reports:
Jesse Biddle didn't make start today because he was struck in the head by an ice pellet & suffered headaches following hail storm Thursday

The devastation in the Reading area was widespread.
My friend Laura Concannon got a picture of one of the hailstones where she was:
And the damage totaled her car:
Meanwhile, another friend of mine, George Gesmundo, working at a Wyomissing hotel, also had his car hit with the large hailstones:
If Biddle was hit on the head directly with these, I could see how it could cause him to have headaches that would make the team hold him out as a precaution.
