The Chip Kelly begins with a win over Washington, 33-27.

First quarter started with a bang. Offense was almost
unstoppable… if they weren’t sloppy. These guys are still getting used to the
fast pace of the game, and

Defense has been surprisingly good. The switch from a 4-3 to
a 3-4 has really helped. Defense went back to normal in the third quarter. They
gave up a few easy plays to get the Redskins down field for two easy
touchdowns. I’m not sure what happened in the locker room, but the 2012 Eagles
defense came back on the field.

The first half was absolutely amazing. Eagles went for 322
total yards (171 pass, 151 rush). They had 21 first downs, 1 turnover, and held
possession for 20:20. The Redskins had a total of 75 yards, (47 pass, 28 rush).
They had 3 first downs, 2 turnovers, and held possession for 9:21.

I have never seen a faster half of a game. You could tell
that the Redskins defense was having a tough time keeping up.

It looked like the Eagles ran out of steam by the second
half. They started playing sloppy football and throwing the ball away.

Mike Vick had 15 completions in 25 attempts, going for 203
yards and 2 TDs. Rushing, McCoy had 31 carries for 184 yards and 1 TD, while
Vick had 9 carries for 54 yards and 1 TD. Jackson had 7 receptions for 104
yards and 1 TD. Celek had 2 receptions for 56 yards and 1 TD.
