Eagles injury report: Jason Peters questionable, eight players ruled probable

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their third and final injury report prior to a Week 10 matchup with the Miami Dolphins

The Eagles have two players ruled out, one player listed as questionable and eight players determined as probable to play.

Starting left tackle Jason Peters (back/quad) is ruled questionable. Peters left the Eagles Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers during the first quarter with back spasms, and he wasn't able play last week against the Dallas Cowboys. Peters says that his back feels fine now, but a pinched nerve in his quad is causing some discomfort. He gave himself a 50-50 shot of playing on Sunday afternoon.

Without Peters last week, The Eagles offensive line consisted of Lane Johnson at left tackle, Allen Barbre at left guard, Jason Kelce at center, Matt Tobin at right guard and Dennis Kelly at right tackle.

Starting safety Malcolm Jenkins (concussion) is listed as probable. Jenkins says he suffered a concussion during the second quarter of last week's win over the Cowboys. He didn't tell anyone about the concussion until the game was over. Jenkins passed all the tests under the NFL's mandated concussion protocol, and he says he should be able to start on Sunday.

With rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks out for the year with a torn pectoral muscle, the Eagles will need to rely on inside linebackers Mychal Kendricks, Kiko Alonso (knee) and DeMeco Ryans (hamstring) to stay healthy.

Kendricks has missed three games this season with a nagging hamstring injury, but he wasn't listed on the injury report at all this week.

Alonso had a limited role last week, playing in just 29 defensive snaps in his first game back as he recovers from arthroscopic surgery. He is officially listed as probable to play.

Ryans had missed the past two games, but he was a full participant during practice on both Thursday and Friday. He too is listed as probable to play.

Wide receivers Riley Cooper (toe) and Nelson Agholor (ankle) are both ruled probable. Cooper left last Sunday night's win against the Cowboys during the first half of play. Agholor has missed three games since getting injured in the second quarter of a Week 5 game against the New Orleans Saints.

Running backs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews are both listed as probable with groin injuries. They were full participants through the entire week of practice at the NovaCare Complex.

Backup tight end and special teams player Trey Burton (hamstring) is also ruled probable.

Backup offensive lineman Josh Andrews (concussion) and defensive back Jerome Couplin (shoulder) are the only Eagles players to be ruled out. Andrews suffered a concussion during Wednesday's practice session, and the team re-signed Julian Vandervelde to fill his spot. Couplin's injury occurred during the first half of the game against Dallas, and he was unable to make a return.
