Detroit Tigers superstar third baseman Miguel Cabrera underwent successful surgery to repair a core muscle last week here in Philadelphia. As he came into town presumably for a follow-up visit, he took out the time to check out Eagles practice. Oh how we would wish to have Cabrera in town playing for the Phillies.
The surgery was reportedly a success. Cabrera's surgeon was Dr. Bill Meyers, founder of the Vincera Institute located at 1200 Constitution Avenue down by the Navy Yard.
