DeSean Jackson Visiting Redskins Monday

DeSean Jackson's free agency tour will open Monday when the former Eagles receiver visits the Washington Redskins.

Multiple sources confirm reports that Jackson will meet with the Redskins front office on Monday and that owner Daniel Snyder could offer Jackson an offer that would be difficult for the six-year receiver to turn down.

Currently Washington has just under $7 million in salary cap space but Snyder has an affinity for making a big splash by adding high profile players and could still manage the 'Skins roster to accomdate a deal to ink Jackson just three days after being cut by the Eagles.

Elsewhere, there is mutual interest between Jackson and the Oakland Raiders whom NFL.com reports Jackson reached out to prior to being given his walking papers by Eagles head coach Chip Kelly shortly before noon Friday. The Raiders currently have just over $14.6 million in cap room and would represent an opportunity for Jackson to return home to the west coast.

By releasing Jackson the Eagles freed up $6.75 million in cap space.
