Cavaliers Top 76ers, 104-93

On Monday night, Kyrie Irving and the Cavaliers beat the 76ers by a score of 104-93. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers' leading scorer was Kyrie Irving. He scored 17 points and had 12 assists. Definitely a great game for Kyrie. Tristan Thompson also performed well tonight, as he scored 15 points and collected 16 rebounds. The Cavs also had good performances out of C.J. Miles, Alonzo Gee, and Henry Sims. Overall, the Cavaliers scored 104 points and shot 44.2% from the field. 

The Philadelphia 76ers' leading scorers were Spencer Hawes and James Anderson. They both had 17 points. Hawes also had 12 rebounds to go along with his 17 points, so this was definitely a solid performance from him tonight. Some other players that had a good performance for the 76ers tonight were Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, Royce White, and Daniel Orton. Orton actually collected 10 rebounds tonight; his performance may have just earned him a spot on the 76ers roster come opening night. Overall, the 76ers scored 93 points and shot 35.2% from the field. 

The 76ers are now 2-4 on the preseason, and their next game is at home on Wednesday, against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game will be shown on Comcast Sportsnet at 7:00 PM ET.
