As expected, the Philadelphia Eagles started their coaching changes with their decision on who will replace John DeFilippo as the quarterback coach.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles will promote assistant QB coach Press Taylor to QB coach. DeFilippo left the team last week following the Eagles' Super Bowl LII victory parade to become the new offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings.

Taylor joined the Eagles in 2013 as the offensive quality control coach, transitioning to his role as assistant QB coach in 2016.
His coaching career got underway, after spending the 2011-12 season at Tulsa, helping the Golden Hurricane capture the 2012 C-USA Championship.
Before coaching, Press Taylor was a two-year quarterback at Marshall after transferring from Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS, following his sophomore campaign. At Butler, Taylor led the Grizzlies to back-to-back Junior College National Championships in 2007 and 2008. He compiled a 17-1 record as a starter and served as the team’s captain in both seasons.
Taylor's move to QB coach is a good move, where he will continue to aid in the development of Carson Wentz, especially after his ACL injury.
The Eagles are still in the process of figuring out who will become the new offensive coordinator of the team, where current running back coach Duce Staley figures to be the leading candidate at this time.
