Rainout: Phillies, Padres to Play Split-Admission Doubleheader

By Matt Rappa, Sports Talk Philly editor

Saturday evening's game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Diego Padres — the second game of the three-game series — has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up on Sunday in a split-admission doubleheader. Saturday's makeup will be played at 6:05 p.m., while the scheduled 1:35 p.m. contest will be instead played at 12:05 p.m. Fans with tickets to Saturday's game who are unable to attend the makeup game on Sunday may exchange their tickets for an remaining regular season home game this season.

Gates will open at 11:05 a.m. for the first game, and approximately one hour prior to first pitch for the second game. Photo day, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been cancelled.

Nick Pivetta will start the first game, while Vince Velasquez will start the series finale, according to philly.com's Scott Lauber.
