Week after week, he wowed the judges and viewing audiences for America's Got Talent.

The finale of this year's America Got Talent run was on Wednesday night and the Eagles own long-snapper, in-house magician Jon Dorenbos was in it right up to the very end.

Dorenbos came in third place in the competition as the finale results were revealed live on Wednesday night.

Dorenbos has always been known for his amazing card tricks and magic, but not quite on the stage of national television. It was always more of a fun-loving side of the Eagles long-snapper that was meant to entertain teammates and fans.

But this year, Dorenbos auditioned for the show, passed and went through to the live competitions and advanced week after week.

A few weeks back, we profiled some of the tricks Dorenbos had performed to advance as far as he did. On Tuesday night's final performances, Dorenbos combined the amazing magic with an inspirational message. You can watch the performance below.

What was once held secret, exclusively seen by teammates and on a few occasions fans in Philadelphia was on display for the world, as was Dorenbos' story, about how magic helped save him during a treacherous childhood.

"I think the biggest piece of advice I can have is find happiness. Find true happiness within yourself and don’t have it be based on money or materialistic things. Be able to come home and be proud of who you are as a person," Dorenbos said in an article on the Philadelphia Eagles website. "It’s funny I got into magic, and that’s great, but magic saved me from a really bad place. And magic taught me things about myself and I slowly learned that life is magic. Everything around me is magic and everything around me is opportunity."

While Dorenbos did not take home the million dollar grand prize, he walks away a winner anyway. He showed another side of his talents. He showed that his career will likely go on long after the gridiron. An already talented role player for the Eagles is also a very talented magician. The results speak for themselves.
