Game Recap: Sixers vs. Spurs 12/1

0-17 is not good at all, but if your Sam Hinkie the Sixers have been perfectly bad this year. They are the only defeated team left, which could all change Wednesday against the T-Wolves, but anyway the Sixers came out on the losing end of a 109-103 contest with the Spurs. Might I add that Pop decided to sit two of his stars tonight in Tony Parker (ribs) and Tim Duncan (rest). Even so,  the Sixers held their own against a lineup that included Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobli. MCW led the charge with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. MCW filled the stat sheet for the second night in a row after coming off his first triple double of the year that included 18 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds. Also contributing another solid effort was KJ Mcdaniels. He finished the night up with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Alexy Shved also added 19 points. The Sixers were down by double digits much of the game, but were able to close the gap in the fourth quarter. But history does tend to repeat itself and the Sixers just weren’t able to finish. On tap for Wednesday is a faceoff with the Timberwolves who are comparable to the Sixers in terms of NBA experience. This should turn out to be a competitive game down to the wire, so the Sixers first W is not out of the question by any means Wednesday night.
