Fans loved his bat. Freddy's body, however did not like his one at bat last night in the fifth inning as he strained his lower back on a swing. Mike Fontenot replaced Galvis on a 3-2 count and walked. The Phillies placed Galvis on the 15-day disabled list today.
Michael Martinez will be called up from Lehigh Valley to take his place. Expect to see much of Mike Fontenot against right-handers and Martinez against lefties.
