Penguins Take Down Flyers in Season Opener

With Less than three minutes into the game Brayden Coburn was called on an interference penalty against none other than Sidney Crosby. With only seven seconds left in the penalty Tyler Kennedy scored with a delfection to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead.

James Neal scored off of a clean faceoff win from Malkin. Penguins took a 2-0 lead.  By the end of the first period the Penguins still held the lead at 2-0

Within 30 seconds of the 2nd period starting Claude Giroux scored on a beautiful pass from Scott Hartnell. 2-1 Penguins   Brayden Schenn got hit with with the cross checking penalty against our favorite Penguin Sidney Crosby. 

In the third period, Penguins scored a third time on an empty net goal. Penguins win 3-1.
