The Phillies are in a big slump, but they could get some help as Howie Kendrick will begin his rehab on Wednesday night with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Kendrick, 33, hasn't played since April 15 after straining his oblique muscle. He was hitting .333 with four doubles, a triple and five RBIs. During his rehab, Kendrick will play some infield as well to provide the team with some more depth at different positions.

Kendrick will join an extremely hot Ironpigs team that is 30-14 and five games up in their division. They've won 16 of their last 17 games.
